'We're gonna need a bigger box': Guy pulls over to rescue lonely kitten, gets ambushed by a litter of 12 baby fluffballs asking him to take them home fur good

Guys, cats are evolving. Cats are now awwdorably recognizing themselves in mirrors, they're becoming cuter and cuter to hooman eyes, and now, we have purrfect proof that they understand strategy. The days of hoomans being the #1 species on the planet are getting closer and closer to the end. Once cats understand the internet, it's over for us. We have a little bit more time until that happens, but still, they are getting smarter. 

We can see it in the video below, where one kitten wanders all alone into the road, hoping someone will stop for them. His plan works, as a man pulls over and picks him up. As soon as the kitten is in his hands, a horde of baby floofballs appear from the grass near the road and run up to their rescuer, purractically screaming at him to take them home fur good. The guy never stood a chance. 

But let's break it down for a second - they sent out their smallest kitty warrior, knowing someone will stop for just one. Then, as soon as they saw there was interest in rescue, they sent in the reinforcements. It's a purrfectly genius plan that rivals that of some of the greatest generals in recent history. Watch the whole thing unfold below - it's silly, strategic, and pawsitively cute.

  • Reinforcements…. charge! The hooman has been captured, we repeat, the hooman has been captured! Approach with maximum cuteness and volume to the max in order to make sure he gets us all in the car. Let no kitten be left behind; go back for any stragglers!

    Any cat that willingly comes up to you like this is not a wild feral cat 1. They were way too close to the side of the road 2. They had absolutely no fear of people

  • That would be hissterical. Just the guy trying to drive while 12 noisy kittens climb all over his car and probably his face. It would be the cutest, fluffiest, and most chaotic car ride of his life.

    AAWWWW they strategized! They clearly waited to see how he treated the first "scout" kitten. Then when it's obvious that he's a decent human, they all went "NEW MOMMY!!!!" and swarmed. That's so sweet. He gets the kitten seal of approval.

    She led me to her brother who was lying in the grass, and only let me touch her after I'd picked him up. Both of them were half starved. He couldn't even stand.
